About us
Vintage Man house is the parent company of the Protege Centre. We are at the forefront of promoting creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in school children using our flagship programs- Scrabble and chess in schools initiative.
Since 2010 we have introduced scrabble and chess as co-curricular programs in schools. Using scrabble and chess to improve vocabulary, spelling, math, logic, and critical thinking in school children.
We have helped organize seven (7) successful editions of the Winifred Awosika Foundation Scrabble tournament for schools with over 5000 school children trained in Scrabble in over a hundred private and public schools across the federation.
We have participated in both local, national, and international scrabble and chess tournaments. In 2012 one of our proteges was crowned the world's best under 10 at the world youth scrabble championship held in Birmingham United Kingdom.
